Ally Capellino Retrospective at the Wapping Project

Celebrating thirty years in the accessories business, Ally Capellino is honoured with a retrospective exhibition at the Wapping Project in London’s East End. Alongside a showcased archive selected by the designer are pieces contributed by fans, to the exhibition via the website. Infact, it’s all about the fans with three films depicting the bags being worn or otherwise utilised by their proud owners. For those who aren’t familiar with the Wapping Project – it’s a large, baron industrial space ready and willing to house the next creative project. Art Director Rupert Blanchard attempts to enchant the space with a ‘wall of bags’. Meanwhile, Liberty of London are at it with the collabs once again creating two special edition designs featuring both the Ally Capellino and Liberty of London logos and a Liberty print lining.
