Dr Marten's Clothing Line

Probably one of the only brand names that also doubles up as the name of an iconic shoe style; Dr Marten’s deviates from footwear into clothing with their first ever official clothing line.  It’s a range straight out of the pages of the nineties, taking its cues from British work wear with plaid shirtdresses and boyish shirts, ginghams, striped tees and shawl collar cardigans for both menswear and womenswear. In some way, the clothes seem to have been designed to ‘accessorise’ the footwear. It’s a simple, utility, effortless urban uniform for the 20-teens.

It’s just one crest of the wave of 90s nostalgia whether it’s the fourth ‘stab’ of the Scream franchise or Nirvana sound tracks on the catwalk….watch this space for more!
