Hermes Scarves Go Street

Hermes and its scarves are iconic, but while both are usually associated with high luxury and ladylike glamour, one look at the new fashion website Hermes has just launched will show you an urban cool side to the luxury French fashion house.

Dedicated solely to its signature square scarves, the new website, called J’aime Mon Carre (I Love My Scarf), takes a cool street turn and shows the girls of Paris, New York and Tokyo working the scarves in ways Hermes would never have dreamed of – as turbans, headbands, belts, even pyjamas!! There are cute interviews, and even instructions on how to tie the perfect knot.

But other than providing us with scarf wearing inspiration, the website has another agenda. It’s celebrating the new collaboration between Hermes and cool French boutique Colette, the two have teamed up to create a special collection of scarves that are ready to launch in September, just in time for Fashion Week.
We’re sure we will be seeing scarves making a comeback on the streets of Sydney and Melbourne…….but will they be real Hermes??
