Jil Sander for Uniqlo : Round Two
Following her hit debut collection for Uniqlo, German designer Jil Sander has sharpened her sketching pencil once more for another covetable +J range for cult Japanese retailer Uniqlo.
Once again, the collection revolves a capsule wardrobe of minimal, modern basics- an ethos very much in touch with the Uniqlo’s own philosophy. Think androgynous-looking single-breasted blazers, crisp white work shirts, melange stretch jersey basics and signature cropped trousers. For men, the collection incorporates cashmere sweaters and some cosy feather down quilted jackets.
Championing the ‘Austerity’ trend, the brand statement says it all…’Luxury will be simplicity. Purity in design, beauty and comfort for all. Quality for the people. Basics are the common language. The future is here: +J’.
Available online and in stores worldwide.
