Lana's Body Electric

It definitely pays to be front row at Lana Del Rey! We give you an exclusive glimpse of her July 27 show at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney. In her white halter criss-crossed dress, hair adorned with a Bird of Paradise, she opened with Blue Jeans to a rapturous reception. It didn’t take long for her to descend into the crowd to meet her “people”, cradling a bunch of red roses from a fan while she sang. There was a string quartet, keyboardist, and percussionist to back her vocals. Her famous vintage clips played on a backscreen, including clips of Elvis, while Lana incarnated Priscilla Presley. A heavy-metal grunge teen at heart, she covered Nirvana’s ‘Heart Shaped Box’, winning instant approval as the fans screamed. As she laid out her two arms, fans did everything they could to touch the legendary Lana. There is no doubt; Lana Del Rey is a visionary.
