Mag Nation lands in Newtown

Magazine mecca Mag Nation has made it to Sydney, with a store on Newtown’s King Street, the sixth location in a retail chain that began in Auckland and carries more than 4,000 titles. My results turned up Frankie, i-D and 10: two faves and a newie (to me) so it’s pretty spot on. Mag Nation is also on top of the Spanish publishing trend, offering up the divinely lived-in interiors of Apartamento and fashion vertigo Paper Planes prides itself on. Limited-edition Australian titles are another specialty so you’ll never have to go without the eco-aware girl’s favourite Peppermint, footwear bible Sneaker Freaker or skate and design mag Wooden Toy.
