Magical Rykiel

H&M have done it again, another fantastic collaboration, this time a lingerie line Sonia Rykiel pour H&M. It hits 1500 H&M stores on 5th December and was launched on Tuesday in an amazing parade at Grand Palais in Paris (a must watch log onto www.hm.com). Models on fabulous Mardi Gras inspired floats, some suspended from huge chandeliers, posing on huge satin beds or swinging on fairy lit garden swings, true parade theatre.

Beautifully detailed black lace and two tone nude silk bras and vintage style knickers with white chiffon roses, gold zips and cut out details feature in the collection. There are 70 pieces in the range from floaty chiffon kimono’s to Betty Grable inspired bra sets, from seeing the preview images I don’t know how you would choose.

"I wanted to show that I am very proud of this collection," Sonia Rykiel's daughter, Nathalie, who is president and artistic director of the fashion house, told WWD. "I also wanted to entice women who love our brand, but who may be hesitant to visit our boutiques."

I don’t think they will have a problem getting women into stores!!
