Temporary Sanctuary

Zimmerman, the Australian cult brand recently set up a pop up shop in New York. The bare white high ceiling Soho space is a perfect setting for the effortless wears. It feels like an airy beach cabana, the ideal destination for these looks.

Zimmerman is known for their hot swimwear and the shop offers no shortage of one and two pieces styles in playful prints, luscious colours with sexy cutouts, macabre and dangling charms. Ready to wear selections double as beach cover-ups and day wear. Slouchy silk jumpsuits cinch at waists. Jersey knits in dusty fruit hues are embellished with knots and ruffles. Feather light dresses are flirty and swoop gracefully across the body. Wear it casually with leather fisherman sandals or decked out for summer evening cocktail hour with strappy heels.

The first collection by ManiaMania, an Aussie jewelry label is also featured. The raw quartz stones and tough metal neckpieces and bracelets contrast beautifully with the sheer easy pieces.

The doors are open for one more month and luckily for us New Yorkers, the label is just testing out the waters and scouting a permanent location.
