When Film meets Fashion

Here at SCOUT we get most excited when fashion campaigns are shown in short films ‘cause it’s a smart way of telling the story of a collection, other then through fashion shows only, which seems to have a very selected and restricted public. The participation of well-known filmmakers and actresses on the latest fashion campaigns is getting more common day by day and it’s interesting to see how brands are looking to relate themselves with a personality who will embody their spirit and lifestyle in a more authentic way. Erdem x H&M

The film “The Secret Life of Flowers”, created exclusively for the collection launched by these two fashion giants, is directed by Baz Luhrmann, so you can expect a story as magnificent, passionate and dramatic as the director of Moulin Rouge can create. Click here to watch it.

Jimmy Choo

“Shimmer in the Dark” is the name of the Cruise 2018 campaign which stars Cara Delevingne. Very urban, very sexy and glamorous, the model and actress appears walking through the streets of New York on her way to an exciting disco night while wearing some glittering Jimmy Shoo’s boots. Lagerfeld chose the french actress and House ambassador Marine Vacth to incorporate the spirit of Chanel’s Cruise 2017/18 collection. The actress is famous for playing parts that evokes themes like sexuality and nudity, as the teenage on 2013’s “Young and Beautiful”. Click here to watch it.
