An Ode to Gucci

While in Italy for Pitti Uomo, we have been at Gucci Garden in Florence and what a treat! The Italian luxury brand just opened this space in Florence, in the Florentine Palazzo, a 1300’s historic building. Gucci Gardens gathers a store, exhibition space and also a restaurant, called the Gucci Osteria.

The brand’s history is showcased all over the curated displays, pieces, documents and videos presented at the space. The Gucci well-known decadent and retro vibe is reflected on the flower wallpapers and you can notice that they chose to preserve the architecture of the palazzo. However, contemporary touches can be found throughout the space, on the illustrations and phrases written all over some walls. An homage to Gucci’s history and achievements and a real treat for Gucci lover’s.
