Australia Has It's Own Fashion Film Festival

This week we attended the very first Australian International Fashion Film Festival (AIFFF) at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney. It's always a thrill when events like this pop-up in our hometown. Over two nights we watched a well-curated series of internationally recognised fashion films from labels such as Prada, Gucci, and film institutions like SHOWstudio. Our highlight was the opening film, The Purgatory of Monotony, by fashion label RHIÉ. The film celebrates 'the surrealism of the mundane' in a clever, witty and fashionable manner. Directed by Ace Norton, the short film has already won a bunch of awards from numerous other international fashion film festivals. Watch it below, and like the AIFFF on Facebook to follow all their future events.

Many thanks to the AIFFF. Video courtesy of Ace Norton
