Bergdorf Goodman's Amazing Windows

One of the fun and exciting parts of fashion research is getting out on the streets to watch everything the big retailers are proposing for the next season.

The work made by Benjamin Shine on Bergdorf Goodman's windows really caught our eye at the store on 5th Avenue last week. The artist created the faces by carefully draping and sewing the transparent fabric, in order to evoke the glamour and sophistication of the 1950's, era of the dresses that were being featured on the window.

If you're curious to understand how this was made, have a look at the artist's Instagram feed by clicking here, you'll be able to watch a video of him with his hands on the fabric, really inspiring!
