The Alternative Fashion Weeks

New York, London, Milan and Paris are the centre of all attentions when it comes to fashion weeks. But there are other cities in the world with amazing fashion effervescence that keep showcasing emerging talents. Let’s have a closer look at some cities' designers that are a little out of the circuit:

COPENHAGEN - Danish brands Ganni and Henrik Vibskov are already well-known in the fashion business and they presented interesting colour stories in their collection. Print was also an important factor, and Vibskov’s checks were very fresh and young.

KIEV - Great surprises were seen on Flow the Label’s and Ksenia Schnaider’s shows. The first one revealed an effortless feminine look while the latter presented an updated perspective for denim wear in a young and light collection.

SEOUL - For the Blindless label, gender looks and boldness on large extensions of prints were key, while Low Classic preferred to play with layers and oversized silhouettes.

STOCKHOLM - Swedish and Nordic cultures in general are known for their minimal comfortable looks, however House of Dagmar and Rodebjer went to the opposite side and invested in prints and rich colours such as mustard and warm brown tones.

TOKYO - Japanese designers also had a different take in colour. Tae Ishida's eye-catching match of charcoal gray with orange and royal blue and 5-Knot was all about warm winter colour combinations.

New faces and a few new surprises!
