Groundbreaking Florals at Chanel

"Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking," purred Streep in the infamous The Devil Wears Prada. But for Chanel couture SS15, Lagerfeld took overdone florals, explored and obsessed over it in seventy two looks, and created something inspiring, magical and well, groundbreaking. A grey garden set flourished with colour as the show progressed, paradoxically fuelled by internal motorised engines. Silhouettes were cropped, skirts fluted out and the midriff was in show. Can Lagerfeld replicate nature better than Mother Nature? Almost, we say. Almost. Watch the story unfold below.
