Hot Autumn Winter Designer Collaborations

Hot collaborations between designers, artists, high end brands and high street retailers are a given now, the audience just expects it. The challenge now is to out to the other with the most collosal, the most unlikely and the most covetable.

H&M certainly wins prizes for the most extraordinary teaming with one of the most conceptual and renegade brands in the business Maison Martin Margiela. The house of anonymous yet brilliant designers will create a suite of Belgian avant-garde flavoured pieces for a November 15th reveal. Naturally, the stores are expecting fans clawing at the doors in the early hours once again.

Opening Ceremony were welcomed to the UK with Open arms when they soft-launched earlier this summer with an Olympics pop-up. The brand will launch a permanent store this fall in London's Kings Road. The brand is teaming up with the closest thing to its British counterpart, Topshop. The British retailer created a red, white and blue collection as a Ny-Lon gesture of sorts.

East London arts and illustration collective Jaguarshoes are waving their hipster wand over British 'School Shoe' heritage brand Clark's with a special edition blue corduroy  desert boot. It's the first ever shoe designed by the group and each pair comes with specially designed Brit-themed socks.

Uniqlo collaborate with Japanese super designer Jun Takahashi of Undercover for a series of quirky jackets and knits with contrasting colour patches.
