New Era for Burberry at ss19 Runway Show

Ricardo Tisci’s first collection as the new creative director at Burberry had all the attention from the fashion crowd in London Fashion Week. The huge show presented more than 120 looks, establishing his personal view of the British culture and how Burberry is a big part of it.

At the first part of the collection, beige was a statement, then pops of red and black showed up little by little towards the end of the show. Classics as the trench coat and the Burberry’s iconic check had it’s place in the collection, without a doubt. On the other hand, a punk influence was present in a few looks, celebrating the connections between tradition and newness, typical in the British fashion history.

To finalize the show, the black evening looks shows Tisci’s intention to bring back the luxury to the brand, without denying the importance of streetwear.

Here’s SCOUT’s favourite looks from the show.
