Stella McCartney does Menswear

Stella McCartney’s beautiful, wearable and ethical collections have long been a SCOUT favourite and we were delighted this week to catch the first glimpse of her new men’s range.

McCartney’s trademark effortless cool combined with her cheeky sense of humour featured throughout the collection, bringing together bold slogans and vintage inspired embroidery with hippie-style socks & sandals. With looks ranging from super-casual, to smart + quirky street, grungy London felt like the backdrop for these looks, and was the perfect city to launch the collection.

Mixing masculine and feminine, nostalgic pieces from the late 60s were said to inspire the collection and the ‘Dad Shirt’, a delicate baby blue embroidered kaftan top is about as far away from the name suggests, unless of course your dad is Paul McCartney.

We also loved her new relaxed-fit take on mod dressing, and the head-to-toe hunting print ensemble gets a special mention for being so perfectly kitsch.
