The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards

Expected to be released on September 15th, “Manolo Blahnik: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards” is a film that explores the life and work of the renowned Spanish shoe designer. Yes, that’s the favorite shoe brand of Carrie Bradshaw, the main character on “Sex and the City” TV show, we all saw how she used to spend all her savings one pair of Manolos.

The first trailer gives you a glimpse of what is yet to come, with the appearances of Anna Wintour, Sofia Coppola, John Galliano and Rihanna talking about the collaborations they made with the creative and humorous designer. The film is also about the history of the man behind the brand, following his journey since school in Paris, passing through his contact with Diana Vreeland, the Vogue editor in the 1970’s, that helped change the course of his future.
